CATALOG / SCREW-ON & RIVET-ON
Screw-on & rivet-on hinges
Same barrels, different mounting. Screw-on hinges fasten through the frame with eyewear screws and can be replaced in the field — the repair market runs on them. Rivet-on hinges are pressed or heat-staked into acetate on production lines. We supply both, in left/right pairs.
SCREW-ON
For repair & small-batch work
- Mounts with standard M1.4 eyewear screws — no press, no jig
- The style behind most repair kits and replacement sets
- Hole spacing is the critical spec: measure center-to-center
- Popular with repair labs, optical shops and kit distributors
RIVET-ON
For acetate production
- Pins press or heat-stake directly into the acetate
- Clean front-face look — visible rivets or hidden, per design
- Pin length and pattern must match your staking tooling
- Supplied in production quantities against line schedules
