CATALOG / SCREW-ON & RIVET-ON

Screw-on & rivet-on hinges

Same barrels, different mounting. Screw-on hinges fasten through the frame with eyewear screws and can be replaced in the field — the repair market runs on them. Rivet-on hinges are pressed or heat-staked into acetate on production lines. We supply both, in left/right pairs.

SCREW-ON

For repair & small-batch work

  • Mounts with standard M1.4 eyewear screws — no press, no jig
  • The style behind most repair kits and replacement sets
  • Hole spacing is the critical spec: measure center-to-center
  • Popular with repair labs, optical shops and kit distributors
RIVET-ON

For acetate production

  • Pins press or heat-stake directly into the acetate
  • Clean front-face look — visible rivets or hidden, per design
  • Pin length and pattern must match your staking tooling
  • Supplied in production quantities against line schedules
Barrel count 3- and 5-barrel, standard and low-profile heights
Base materials Copper alloys (nickel silver, brass); pure titanium and β-titanium for premium lines
Critical specs Screw-on: hole spacing (center-to-center, mm) and plate footprint. Rivet-on: pin count, pin length and pattern pitch.
Finishes Nickel, gunmetal, gold-tone, black; custom to sample
Packing Bulk poly bags by default; retail-ready repair-kit packing (pairs + screws) available for distributors.
